Plastics and PVC are among the most needed materials in the advertising and wide-format printing market. Elements or coatings of plastic are present in any interior, and the flexibility and wear resistance make it an indispensable material for exterior advertising and decoration. PVC products are generally widely used in the production of various POS materials. It is difficult to obtain a bright and colorful image on plastic products using traditional printing methods. UV printers and UV inks cover plastic with uniform, high-quality images in color, white or transparency, allowing maximum use of this material.
As you know, pvc foam (forex) is one of the most used materials in the advertising industry. Before the UV machines became widespread, they were plastered on the foil by means of digital printing machines either outdoors or indoors. As a result of the inadequate print quality, if also the plasterers were novices, breaks in the foil and the presence of bubbles were expected. In addition, the sun sensitivity for outdoor digital printing is much higher than for UV printing, and we know how harmful solvent based machines are for human health. In Europe, the use of solvent-based digital indoors printing is not permitted. UV prints are used instead.
